Angelo is a minor character of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. He is a 13-year-old boy who usually tried to help the community, but after becoming jealous of Moon Girl for getting the attention he never received, he became the host of Syphonater, a symbiote that further fueled his anger towards her and turned him into a troll-like monster that made fun of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur on the internet.
Biography[]
Angelo is an activist who has made multiple attempts to get people to help with multiple worthy causes, though no one would ever give him the time of day. One day, while petitioning for Opossum's to get their own crosswalk, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, while fighting Devos, ended up destroying his stand and breaking his favorite clipboard.
Moon Girl receiving all the cheers and attention that he never got caused his envy to boil over, making him vulnerable to become the host of the alien symbiote, Syphonater.
Syphonater began trolling Moon Girl online and when she decided to track down her hater and confront him face to face, he grew stronger and stronger the more Moon Girl responded to his insults.
After defeating Moon Girl and trapping her in a big glob of goo, he turned his attention to the Williamsburg Bridge, intending to bring it down so as to get his own wiki page.
After getting free and coming to stop him, Moon Girl starts ignoring his insults causing Syphonater to shrink. He fell from the bridge and Moon Girl saved him, allowing Angelo to break free. He explained what happened to Moon Girl and apologized to her, and she accepted on the condition that he never troll again and take a much needed long break from the internet.
Moon Girl later helped Angelo run an anti-bullying rally.[2]

- Angelo being possesed by the Syphonator symbiote is possibly a nod to his voice actor, Josh Keaton, who is mostly known for voicing Spider-Man in The Spectacular Spider-Man.
