Casey María Eva Duarte Goldberg-Calderon[4][5] is the tritagonist of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. She is a 13-year-old Puerto Rican-Jewish girl, and the manager and best friend of Lunella Lafayette/Moon Girl. Her mission is to make Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur the most beloved superheroes around.[3]

Casey is a young, short and slender, pear-shaped and tan-skinned teenage interracial (Latina and Eastern European Jewish) 13-year-old girl with long, straight, tailbone-length black hair with dusty-blue highlights, black eyes with thick eyelashes, and dons blush, lip gloss and nail polish on her fingernails - all colored in a coral-pink.
Clothing
Casey's clothing features a set of thin, golden hoop earrings, and a sleeveless two-piece mid-thigh teal jumpsuit with the top having a white, buttoned, pointed peter-pan collar and white trimming on the short sleeves, and her cargo shorts includes the same-colored trim on each of the two pockets. Her shorts are also held by a white-trimmed black belt with a round gold-yellow and black buckle.
She also wore calf-length bluish-white socks and large black boots with dark grayish-purple highlights and soles, and her accessories includes a single coral-pink wristband on her right wrist.
Personality
Casey is an outgoing, smart, sweet and cheerful girl who is ready to help and advise others. She likes to spend some of her time on social media, wanting to become a famous internet star. She is also quite passionate about the look and the fashion, wearing very fashionable clothes, or carrying around a whole set of makeup as seen in "The Borough Bully". Casey also speaks a few phrases in Spanish with some frequency.

- Bilingualism: Casey is shown to speak English and Spanish.
- Expert Combatant: Due to multiple cardio exercises, and many bo-staff videos, her combat prowess was shown on different occasions. For example, in "OMG Issue Number 2", when she was able to hold on her own against multiple Enclave soldiers, albeit with Devil's help, and in "Family Matters," Casey ferociously defeats Silvermane's drones.
- Costume Designing: Casey is shown to be a costume designer. Some examples include where she made Lunella's "Moon Girl" superhero uniform in "Moon Girl Landing," and Lunella's sequin stealth suit in "OMG Issue Number 2." She is also shown to be an expert at fashion.

- Casey shares her Latina-Jewish heritage with her voice actress, Libe Barer. However, Barer's Latin heritage is Mexican, while Casey's is Puerto Rican.
- Casey's surnames represent her Jewish heritage. Duarte is an Iberian surname with Jewish origins, being a common surname in Hispanic Jewish families (in turn referring to her Latin-Jewish heritage); Goldberg is a traditional Ashkenazi Jewish surname; and Calderon is a traditional Spanish and Sephardic Jewish surname.
- The parts of her middle name, María Eva Duarte, is the birth name of Eva Peron (aka Evita), the wife of president Juan Perón of Argentina and whose life was the subject of the musical, Evita.
