Disney+ is a streaming service operated by Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International. It was launched on November 12, 2019.[1]
It started as a domestic service, and then expand internationally after fall 2019. The service streams Disney-owned original content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century Fox (who still has a deal with HBO until 2022), and National Geographic channels. The service operates alongside ESPN+ and Hulu (which Disney owns a 67% majority stake in and take full control of it by Disney) in addition to selling a bundle containing the three-tier package, with Hulu including the service as an add-on.
The first six episodes of the first season of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur were added to Disney+ in the United States on February 15, 2023.[2][3] The next five episodes were added on March 8, 2023.[4] The remaining episodes were added on April 12, 2023.[5]
