The first season of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur was announced when the show was first announced on August 24, 2019.[4] It premiered on February 10, 2023, [2] and ended on May 6, 2023.

Synopsis

The series follows the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her ten-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. After Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City via a time vortex, the duo works together to protect the city's Lower East Side from danger.[4]

  • Originally, the season had twenty episodes planned for production,[7] but some episodes were combined or cut during development, bringing the total count to sixteen.[8]
  • Although season 1 premiered throughout early 2023, it was actually produced in 2022 according to the end credits of every episode.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 "Goodnight, Moon Girl" was originally scheduled to air on March 4, 2023, and it was replaced by "Moon Girl's Day Off" due to a change in scheduling.[5] They are the seventh and tenth episodes, respectively, albeit swapped in subsequent airings.
