The first season of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur was announced when the show was first announced on August 24, 2019.[4] It premiered on February 10, 2023, [2] and ended on May 6, 2023.
Synopsis
The series follows the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her ten-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. After Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City via a time vortex, the duo works together to protect the city's Lower East Side from danger.[4]

- Originally, the season had twenty episodes planned for production,[7] but some episodes were combined or cut during development, bringing the total count to sixteen.[8]
- Although season 1 premiered throughout early 2023, it was actually produced in 2022 according to the end credits of every episode.
